Principal Interior Designer

Chandra graduated from William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1990. Trained as a hospitality designer, she began her career developing extensive interior specifications and procurement documentation before advancing to the management of luxury international hotel projects for Deborah Lloyd Forrest Associates, now ForrestPerkins, in Dallas, Texas.

In 2009, Chandra was recruited by Emily Summers Design Associates, where she oversaw the historic renovation of the DeGolyer House at the Dallas Arboretum and contributed to the development of highly detailed, custom residential projects.

Chandra brings more than 30 years of interior design experience to EH Design, with a proven ability to guide projects from initial concept through final installation. Her approach is highly creative, thoughtful, and collaborative, fostering strong working relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and contractors.

With a focus on seamlessly integrating architecture and interior design, Chandra creates sophisticated, highly customized environments through thoughtful space planning and a refined understanding of scale, proportion, material, texture, and light. Her work is distinguished by interiors in which these elements are not applied as afterthoughts, but are inherently woven into the design from the beginning and resulting in spaces that are cohesive, timeless, and memorable.
